Getting started with the Budget Tracker

Download the free Budget Tracker from Gumroad and open it in Excel. If Excel shows a yellow "Protected View" or "Enable Content" bar, click through it — this is standard for downloaded spreadsheets, not specific to this file.

• Go to the Income and Expenses tabs and enter your own figures in place of the examples.
• The Dashboard tab updates automatically — no formulas to edit.
• Save a copy for each month, or reuse one sheet and update it as things change — whichever suits you.
